The Highest Hands in Poker

Poker

You have just received a hand of cards, and your next move is to decide whether to call, raise, or fold. You may be able to check if you have a pair of kings and want to make the most money from the hand. If you have a pair of queens or aces, you may fold to a flop of aces. However, you can fold if someone else has bet.

When the standard pack is used, the highest hand possible is a straight flush. This is a set of 5 cards in order of suit. An ace, J, Q, and 10 are the highest ranking straight flush. A straight flush is also known as a royal straight flush, and the chances of achieving one are almost 650,000 to 1. The next highest hand is a four of a kind. This can be a four-of-a-kind, a pair of aces, or a four-of-a-kind. It is not necessary to match the fourth card.
